With the rapid growth of the VoIP market in Australia there are more and more VoIP providers appearing on the market all the time. There are currently over two hundred and twenty VoIP providers in Australia and this number is still growing. With the lure of cheap calls more and more people are choosing to switch their phone systems over to VoIP. Whether it be residential customers or business customers this growing market has attracted a large number of VoIP providers. Not all of these VoIP providers are offering the same services and many VoIP providers are choosing to focus their efforts on smaller niche markets.
Perhaps the largest VoIP market for VoIP providers is the residential VoIP market. This also seems to be the entry market for most VoIP providers. It is definitely more a case of plug and play in the residential VoIP market. The Business VoIP market is definitely a different kettle of fish with the ability to utilise more functionality through the use of PBX business VoIP solutions. There are far fewer business VoIP providers in the market and this is probably largely due to the fact there is far more expertise and programming required to effectively service this market. The best business VoIP providers will offer customers an end to end solution with pre sales engineers used to spec out the finer points of the phone system. This is where business VoIP providers like Resonance Networks come into their own, engineers custom systems for small to medium enterprise with high functionality which were only previously available by paying large sums of money. This is where the business VoIP market and business VoIP providers have the ability to take the market to the next level... |
